A conceptual festival that honors the rich legacy of historical letterforms is the foundation of the branding initiative Retype Conference. In order to build a meaningful link between the past and the present, the identity investigates how conventional letter-making techniques can be reinterpreted within modern design. Along with a carefully chosen lineup of designers working in comparable typographic and craft-driven spaces, the project also features the festival's complete visual identity.
